Background:

Peter Holland is a long standing activist in St Kilda and Port Phillip. In the 1980s and 1990s as Convenor of the St Kilda Foreshore Conservation Group and a ‘Turn the Tide’ Councillor he was involved in issues such as the St Kilda harbour, high rise controls and social housing. In more recent years as President of unChain Port Phillip he has been active in various issues arising from Melbourne’s population growth, especially the St Kilda Triangle and the Palais. He is a member of ilovemypalais and was the campaign manager for the Independent candidate Tex Perkins in the 2014 State election. In his professional life Peter was the Head of the Business Law Department at Swinburne University.
